Singaporean Toast Box

BreadTalk opened in 2000, Toast Box only in 2005.... meaning only 5 years back.. There seem to be 22 outlets in Singapore... I want to try and visit all of them.. :) That might take me all over Singapore in a more interesting way - than the 'going around Sgp's periphery' plan of mine, not that I've put it completely out of my mind.... But this would be more rewarding, what with the excellent kopi and traditional toast that is signature Toast Box.... The people one gets to see in Toast Box, I bet you cannot get a wider cross-section of Singaporeans in any other manner... So this is my plan to delve deeper into Sgp, made on the eve of its 45th National Day... And I've already been to 9 of the 22 outlets....
By the way, this hardly describes my love for Toast Box... TB, as I call it, is my paradise place on this island, my best loved TB being the one in Bugis Junction, on North Bridge road... My colleagues and friends will testify to how my eyes light up at the mention of Toast Box... the only other Box that beats this one in catching my attention being Art Box, which would make for another dear post... This post does not do justice to my love for TB and I'll be doing another longer post for it....
